Protecting your data matters to me. This policy describes which data Nimbrilo processes.

Data processed

No tracking, no ads

Nimbrilo contains no tracking, no advertising and no analytics services and needs no user account. I receive no data about you or how you use the app.

Local documents and recovery

Nimbrilo reads and saves Markdown files and associated images on your device, using the files and folders you select. Imported images may be held in the app's private draft before the first save. Unsaved text and required image drafts are backed up locally for recovery. The original file changes only when you explicitly save it. PDF files are created locally on supported platforms.

External images

If a document contains images with an external HTTPS address, Nimbrilo loads them from the respective provider for display. The provider receives your IP address and the requested image address, among other connection data. Its privacy policy applies. Use local images if you want to avoid these connections.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact me at the email address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at). The GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) apply.

This privacy policy is updated when the app or the legal situation changes.
